Charity air ambulance helicopters from across the region played a major role in dealing with a spate of road traffic accidents across the region at the weekend.
A charity worker’s career has taken off to new heights after she landed her dream job as a fundraiser for the Sussex Air Ambulance. Cheryl Johnson has taken over from Delaine Shearman as West Sussex County Fundraiser for the life-saving charity.
A dog walker had to be rescued by the Air Ambulance after being trampled by a herd of cows near her home. Claire Morris, 42, was walking along a footpath with her dog Phoebe when she was butted to the ground by one of the bovines.
